Blonde Vinyl Memorial
Prodigal Sons
Prodigal Sons was a techno/rave band from Fort Worth, TX. They apparently signed to Blonde Vinyl/Slava around the same time that globalWAVEsystem did and began recording an album. But Blonde Vinyl folded before they finished. According to the band “We had a bunch of songs that would have been a Blonde Vinyl/Slava release. By the time we were talking to Mixing Factory/Metro One I had a lot more newer stuff that ended up being Texno Theology.

The first appearance of the Prodigal Sons anywhere was on the SLAVA Compilation. After that, the band signed to Metro One records and released a duo of CDs and then a video before switching to N-Soul records for their last two albums.

In 2010, Prodigal Sons returned with new material. So far one album and a single have been released, but they have announced plans for an EP in the future.
