Dead Artist Syndrome was one of the first Christian Gothic bands. Dead Artist Syndrome has always really been Brian Healy with whoever he collects to play on the album he is recording. Members of the 77s are frequently part of this revolving cast. Some people feel that Christians can’t be Gothic, but Brian Healy does a great job of proving these people wrong.Brian Healy continues to occasionally release albums as Dead Artist Syndrome. He is also host of several of the Frontline Records Rewind podcasts. But Healy also has many other talents. In addition to being an ordained minster, he has worked as a stand-in double for actor John Candy in films such as Spaceballs, The Great Outdoors, and Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. He has also appeared on several TV shows and national commercials. On top of all this, he is also consider a leading expert in radio and music programming. In 2008, Healy was awarded Rock City News Best DJ honors. | ![]() ![]() |
