Blonde Vinyl Memorial
The Echoing Green
The Echoing Green is a techno-pop band that recorded an album for Blonde Vinyl records that has never seen the light of day. According to one discography: “originally recorded for Blonde Vinyl. Not released due to the bankruptcy of BV. Aaron became discouraged and left the band.” Some of the songs from that recording have been released on other albums.

Fans have requested a release of the Aria recordings for years. At various times it seemed like the band was going to release it, but never has. The closest they came to releasing it was the Oceanaria collection of Aria and Ocean Chorus era demos.

The Echoing Green seems to be one of the few bands to have survived the Blonde Vinyl days. They are still going strong today. Listed below are their full length releases – but there are many more singles, eps, compilations, and remix albums. See this page for a more complete discography.

  1. First my thanks to you for maintaining a very informative site!

I just thought I’d clarify for those interested that three songs from the unreleased Echoing Green album “Aria” appear on the “Electronica” EP: stop the rain, brand new day, and deep inside your heart. Otherwise, I believe most of “Oceanaria” comes from the unreleased album, but I haven’t been able to track down a copy myself.
