Lifesavers

Lifesavers (aka The Lifesavors) was one of the first bands that Michael Knott recorded with. They were also one of the first Christian new wave/punk bands ever. Michael Knott started off as a guitarist that did very little song writing, and quickly took over to become the band’s leader and primary song writer.

Although the Lifesavers have been quiet for a long time, they are currently back together and working on new music. See the Knottheads Lifesavers story page for a full account of the history of this band.

For those that are new here and are wondering, there is a connection between Lifesavers and Lifesavers Underground. Knott wanted to sins about darker topics and added the “Underground” as a hint to fans that the new materialwould be different.

Pre-Blonde Vinyl Career

Started off as The Lifesavors, releasing several early Christian newwave/punk albums. After two full length albums, the name was changed slightly to The Lifesavers. See the full Lifesavers discography for more details.
