According to the caption: “From Nick Holovaty’s Birthday Party, 50-plus people crammed into a Moscow apartment for an unplugged show. Early on, we misunderstood Mike’s lyric as “All I ever wanted was a girl, a job, and some bus fare.” That became our canon version and has remained so through the next four bands I’ve been in; all have covered this song. Rest in peace, Michael Knott. You impacted so many of us in ways you probably never got to hear about.”
