Reviews of Aunt Bettys s/t and L.S. Underground’s “Bring It Down Now” in Eyeball Magazine circa 1996. Usually I won’t comment on these reviews, but this one seems really off base. It compares the Betty’s sound to bands they sound nothing like (Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Goldfinger, No Doubt, etc? Really?), claims there are no introspective or poetic lyrics, claims Knott has no musical originality, and other wild claims that really aren’t true.
