After Nu Standards broke up, Jon E. Rector took over their MySpace page and recorded an acoustic version of “When She’s Gone” by Michael Knott (also covered by Nu Standards). As far as I can tell, this cover was never released beyond MySpace. Jon does list Knott as an influence.
